Dental Veneers

There are many reasons why people choose veneers.

Not everyone is born with the perfectly shaped and sized teeth. Some people’s enamel is too thin to make their smile look healthy. Sometimes your teeth will not whiten as much as you would like through teeth whitening.

Whether you have stains, chips or simply worn down teeth, the best cosmetic outcome is often using dental veneer technology.

There are two types of dental veneers.

Porcelain Veneers and Composite Veneers

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Dental Veneers are the ultimate solution to give you a youthful and natural smile.

They are wafer thin shells, which are hand made from porcelain and bonded to the surface of the tooth.

Porcelain veneers are beautiful, strong and durable. They are designed for each person to suit their face shape, age and gender. Like nature intended, no two people have identical teeth.

Dr Sandra will spend much time behind the scenes in designing your smile and choosing the best porcelain material and shape to give you that stunning smile.

Dr Sandra works closely with Sydney's leading ceramists to custom design your porcelain veneer to ensure you end up with a natural result. You will always see the end result before things are finalised.

The first step is to design your ideal smile in your consultation.

Composite Veneers

Composite dental veneers are hand crafted veneers that are applied in a single appointment. The will instantly change the things you do not like about your smile.

They are beautifully shaped directly onto your tooth. The material used to make the veneer is carefully matched to the colour of your adjacent teeth.

Whether it's just one tooth or your front 10 teeth, a composite veneer will significantly improve the appearance of imperfections of your teeth.

Composite veneers may not last as long as porcelain veneers and can be more prone to staining. However, these are a more economical option to porcelain veneers.

All your cosmetic options will be discussed in your consultation with Dr Sandra.
